Return From Japan - Mama's Boy
All is well in the Universe again. Taisei's already starting to warm up to his daddy again. I may have partially misunderstood some of the change that he's undergone. Although he definitely tends to want his mommy over his daddy these days, it's not totally because he doesn't remember his daddy. It's partly because he's recently become more of a mama's boy. I guess babies go through stages where the only person they want is mama. And since he was tired and grumpy yesterday, he wanted mama. It was hard for me to understand because before he left for Japan (when he wasn't jet-lagged), he had such a set sleeping schedule that we always knew when he would be happy and when he would be sleepy. So his moods were predictable and understandable. But now he's still adjusting. And so is his daddy. Unpredictable moods and you never know when he'll want mama. At this moment, Wami's trying to get him to go back to bed. Good night Taisei!____________________________________
Hm... this guy in the green - he seems alright.
He tastes alright.
Yeah - I think I like him!

And oh, additions to the new list of things he does:
- Pincer grasp ability - using thumb and forefingers to pick things up.
- The transfer of objects from one hand to the other.
- The ability to continue grasping objects while moving from the tummy into the sit position.

He's definatly grown! He's so cute sitting on his own. Glad to hear that Wami and Taisei are home safe. Yeah the jet lag thing sucks. Evan and I are still recouperating from taiwan. I have only slept a total of I think 10hours in 2 days. Just when I want to sleep Evan's wide awake. sheesh...
Don't worry about the mama boy thing. Evan's at a point now that only dad is fun to play with. He actually gets excited to see dad cause he's the one that comes home from work where he sees boring mom all day.
