Second Birthday
Shortly after our return from Japan, Wami had the energy to stage a big birthday bash for Taisei. We invited all his local friends. All of them spoke Japanese except for one Chinese speaker and two Utahn neighbors. Auntie Esther came up too.
Cake - the (Japanese) kids were enthralled with Wami's creation. This is Taisei's favorite kiddie-cartoon character, Anpanman (tranlation: red-bean bread man). Maybe the Japanese equivalent of Thomas or something like that. The collective devouring of this cake was the only moment of silence during the party.

Thanks to all his great friends and family for coming and bringing all the nice presents!
