A Walking Taisei

Although Taisei's physically had the ability, his intellectual curiousity has taken priority over physical development. In other words, he's always thought it was faster to crawl than bumble around on his feet. So he's continued to crawl for almost two months after his first steps. In an overnight transformation about a week ago, he's almost completely stopped crawling.

Oh man is he cute!! I love the way he throws his arms in the air for the victory cheer. I had to watch the video 5 times in a row, he was so adorable.

hey i congratulate you on your first video post. i thought i had left a comment earlier, but i guess not. i liked vimeo. was it user friendly? what made you choose this over the multitude of others?

Hey 'shellars,
I looked at 10 sites (ugh). For me, came down to Vimeo and VideoEgg. I liked their ease of use, speed and user friendliness. Vimeo wraps videos in flash, making them easier to view for the average person. They also provide the code to embed into blogger and didn't have small limits on video sizes like Photobucket (which is too bad, b/c I liked photobucket too). Most importantly, I had to choose one that I could access through our rediculous firewall at work, excluding youTube and many others.

What about you? I can't seem to see your videos anymore - maybe L-3 blocked it. >:(

i can still see our vids, so maybe your work did block it. big brother does not want you watching scandalous internet video on company time. and i chose google purely for aesthetic reasons. pretty great reason, i know.

sidenote: i do respect your right to maintain three different blogs (including iseeyu japan), but i'll make a wager that everyone who checks iseeyu main also clicks on the taisei buffet just as often. just saying that as annoying as it may seem to be obsessed with one's own child, it's seriously interesting to the rest of us ;)

Thanks Shellars, I feel like I'm at more liberty to just post random, uninteresting pictures of Taisei this way. Ironically, my posts on ISeeYu might actually be more uninteresting, huh? :) I need to update this blog more often, but there are just thousands of pictures (that we think are cute) these days!

YEAH! Taisei's first steps (officially)! And he knew he accomplished a big thing, too, by the way he threw up his hands at the end. Too cute!
