Froggie

Before, getting a day off work or coming home early meant going out for a drive, shopping or having a special meal out. Now, it's "Did Taisei take a nap yet?", "Let's play with him while he's awake and alert", or "Oh, he's sleeping now - better not wake him up." And he goes to bed around 7:30 now. You would think that that would help us to get to bed earlier... :| The good thing is that playing with him sure saves us money over leaving the house. (Costco - automatic $50+, Walmart - always something to buy, Home Depot - oh yeah, gotta fix that too, Beto's carnitas-yum!, etc.)

Lately, not only does he refuse to sleep on his back, he insists on this froggy position.

There appears to be a distinct awareness of others - maybe even of mommy and daddy. He prefers to play with us instead of solo these days.

The first attempt, he didn't like his Johnny Jumper. This second attempt, he seems to be enjoying himself... especially sucking on the fabric. :|

I remember when Adele started flipping over onto her stomach. She never slept on her back again.

I am glad he likes the Johny Jumpup! Does that mean he reaches the floor? Adele never grew into it before she was mobile. She liked to suck on the straps, rather than the fabric.

I think Adele does froggie too. It's kind of a crawl in her sleep and then she stops and ends up with her legs up. Yes, these two are definently related.

Whao there partner! Taisei is only a couple months old and you've got him training to walk/jump already! :) I think it might be better if you put a saddle on Hiro and train Taisei to hang on. :) Wami, don't let Jerin turn Taisei into a G.I. Joe! :) Sean

I remember putting Christian in a jumper at about that age. How soon Sean forgets.

Hahaha, love the froggy position. Jerin just wants Tasei to work on his vertical for future basketball purposes. Jerin, are you sure you want to train your kid to be able to dunk on you in the future? :)
